n so i ended up doin BBA

itz been long prob 3 weeks since i rote ma last post...i almost frgt abt ritin one until nandu..oops nadia reminded me dat sm1 was actlly waitin 2 read...newys...so here i am wiz a lil bit abt hw i ended up studyn business...

hmm so i was in grade 9 ven i actlly got d thot of thinkin abt a career...credit goes 2 all dose uncles n aunties whu kept remindin me abt hw choosin a career was so imp at dat age....i remember veneve v had guests @ our place...lookin @ me d first thing ppl asked was...wat is he doin?...bada hoke kya karna chahta hai??...n stuff like dat...newys so since den i strtd gettin thots abt becumin a doc or eng. or pilot....ahhhhhh...pilot...yes i wanna b a pilot...n so i decided dat yeshhhhhh ma goal in life was 2 fly...n since dat dy...veneve i vent 2 d airport or veneve i saw a plane...i pictured my self in it....as a matter of fact i almost googled images of different aeroplanes 2 see hw diff dey luked frm each oder...

till d tym i completed 10th i neva told ne1 abt dis...i always knew dat ppl wud laugh @ d thot of me becumin a pilot..once i completed my 10th i had 2 options 1) commerce 2)science...n since i knew ma goal without thinkin i opted 4 d 2nd option...although none in ma family supported me initially coz dey felt dat it wud tuff task ahead..

as i was studying in 11th i came across dis uni in ma town whu was accepting students 4 pilot trainin ryt afta 10th provided d grades were gud...n so i decided dat dis wud b a gud chance since ma grades were awsm...buh afta much research done by ma parent...dey felt dat completin 12th was necessary as it wud b usefull later...n so i decided 2 continue wiz skoolin..

for d next 2 yrs...dats 11th n 12th...i put ma heart n soul into gettin gud grades so dat i wudnt find ne diff gettin into a flying skool...n dus i passed out wiz awsm grades again....

buh life had thot smthng else 4 me...

for 2 yrs nw eve1 in ma family had frgtn abt me wantin 2 becum a pilot...n den nw ma mum dad was kinda concerned abt wat i wanted 2 do...so i go lyk..."u kno i want 2 becum a pilot"...n so d probs strt...none in d family was ready 2 understand...reson being..dey felt dat d whole pilot thng was s dangerus n besides pilots hardly had ne social lyf bak home...so dey were totally against it...

i tried ma best 2 convince eve1 in every way possible..buh no no no no...is was i received eve tym i asked...

now after all dis...i was tol dat i had 2 do BBA since eventually i had 2 join business n der was no point in doin engineerin...

n so dis is hw i actlly ended up doin BBA...

itz been 2 yrs nw dat amm doin dis...n even tdy ppl ask me a question

but tdy...nw dat i am totally into commerce...i feel dat prob flyin was smthng i was interested in buh it wasnt in ma destiny so i dint...

i wud also like 2 mention dat durin d 2 yrs of ma 11th 12th der was another person who ws quite interested like me...or rather more dan me in becumin a pilot...tdy shes becumin a doc...

prob it jus din work out 4 us...ryt nadia???...

even tdy yrs later...i get xcited ven i see a plane in sky..amm xcited 2 go 2 airport even 4 d purpose of seeing off sm1 or receivin sm1...i make sure i read d latest version of a local aviation magazine..

even tdy i try 2 look into d cockpit veneve i enter d plane..n even tdy i visit d website of d flyin skool dat i wanted 2 join...

IPL 3 Finale....A nice setup

Before i start expresseing my views on d finale, i would like 2 congratulate all d CSK fans 4 der team victory. u guyz relli played well...n undoubtedly deserved 2 win d finale but but but...

MI u guyz too played well till semis...gr8 journey since day1...sachin was majestic....tiwari, pollard, dhawan, zaheer, bhajji n many more...n 2 frgt fernando n malinga...all of u played terrific...

But there is a part in me, that tells that dis wasnt a finale by ny fair means...what i think is dat it was a setup...which benefited eve1 frm top 2 bottom...no no no...hold ur thots...i gt ma reasons 2 xplain...

1. d unexpected series bomb blastin banglore jus days before d finale...of which security agencies had no clue...leading 2 d change of venue 2 Mumbai...(benefit govt n MI as a whole)

2. d rumours of sachin nt playin d finale till last min....although he was der in playin 11...till 5:50pm der was no official announcment dat he wud play...(benefit bookies)

3. d unusual dismissal of sachin...if guyz noticed carefully..it lukd as if sachin actually played d shot 2 get out..it no way lukd like coming frm "man of d series". Now u mite b thinkin dat sachin was injured...na na na...he played well 2 reach 48 wiz a fairly good strike rate...

4. n d final point which i assume eve1 felt....d unusual battin line up...why bring in pollard so late...(benefit bookies...coz by d time pollard came 2 bat...CSK was winning)

As d saying goes..."Money speaks"..."Paisa Bolta Hai"...

But again...hats off 2 CSK...dey held der nerves ind final overs...hats off 2 morkel 4 dat splendid over...

Truly dat 1 over of MI made a diff btw d losers n winners...as d proverb "catches win u matches"...it certainly happened wiz CSK...MI paid heavily 4 dose 2 drop catches...

All i would say is dat...i hv supported MI since beginin...n i will b doin it again next year...coz u guyz really earned a place in finale n deserved 2 win it...

2 think out of d box...

Being on d presidents list dis academic year, i was given an opportunity 2 attend a seminar on creativity n innovation by sm XYZ *cudnt catch his name*...some Swedish dude who has worked for companies like erriction, IKEA n many more...newys...

I was pretty xcited 2 hv been given dis chance. The seminar was all abt d importance of creativity n innovation tdy. He tol us hw countries like US, Japan n many EU countries are spending billions of $ of money on research n stuff...in order 2 innovate. During the seminar he tol us dat students tdy were required 2 step out of d books...stop following d traditional practice of learning bookish knowledge n gettin gud grades. On dat our dean had 2 say dis...
"I always advice my students not 2 limit themselves 2 textbooks...think beyond d line.."...he also admitted dat innovation required breaking rules...

As i walked out of the auditorium i was thinkin n comparin wat d dean spoke a lil while ago with d reality...

I dont ko abt oder countries buh certainly do kno dat in dis part of d world (UAE)...n basically d whole CBSE system...students r taught frm day 1 2 learn evethng frm text or depend on the teachers notes..d quesion in xams r nuthin but dose frm d text...so basically itz jus memorizin n vomittin...dats it..nw whr is d scope 4 innovation???

Talkin abt creativity...activities like dance, art r considered secondary in skool...although sometimes a student is xceptionally gud @ it..so although der is scope 4 creaivity buh it is neva allowed 2 grow...

Another important point mentioned in d lecture was dat...firms r lookin 2 employ ppl whu can think creatively...is it so??...i certainly dun think so...
becoz creativity dusnt require ne bachlors degree...buh gettin a job requires one...

At d end of d day i feel dat...innovation n creativity luk gud on paper buh in actual it is nt possible in such a environment..

It amazes me how a person can play so well @ an age of 36...his style his focus his determination..truly magical...

@ age of 19 i get tired after 20 overs buh tendulkar stands firm on d crease after playin n entire innings...hats off 2 ur fitness level master..



While i'm decribin good things abt d little master, wat surprises me is d role of media. Today media has made Sachin stand on d 7th cloud which he truly deserves buh it is dis media dat taunts n criticizes him ven he fails 2 perform in a match. Now wat do i make out from dis...is all d publicity n fame fake..temporary..
